Alaska Students – Capitol Visits

A digital civics series for Alaska classrooms

A free, classroom-ready video series that helps middle school students understand Alaska’s government — including the Capitol, the three branches of government, and how laws are made — through a virtual “day at the Capitol.”

What if….every middle schooler in Alaska could visit the Capitol?

Join Alex and Mary on a Field Trip to Juneau!

Based on the League of Women Voters of Juneau’s long-running Capital Students – Capitol Visits program, now available statewide. This is a program geared for Alaska middle school students in grades 6-8.

This program consists of 7 short instructional videos, complete with lesson plans, student activities and worksheets.
