Upcoming Election Information

Municipal Elections are on October 7, 2025.

All across Alaska on October 7th, there will be local elections. Not all locations have elections (notable exceptions being Anchorage and Mat-Su).  Some elections include city council or assembly candidates, some school board elections and even elections for mayor. Local city clerks administer the elections, and the local cities and towns have their own charters and election timelines. So it is important to check with the city clerk to find out dates for absentee voting, for polling locations, etc.
